The design features playful typography, vibrant colors, and eye-catching patterns that convey the joyful experience of indulging in popcorn. The packaging balances modern appeal with a nostalgic, whimsical touch, making it stand out on shelves while appealing to a broad audience.

Concept Development

The concept centered around making Popper feel lively and approachable, while emphasizing its quality as a gourmet snack. The bold wordmark, accompanied by dynamic “pop” brush lettering and dotted patterns, reflects the lighthearted nature of the product and the popping sound of fresh popcorn.

Colors were chosen to represent the fun and variety of flavors while maintaining a clean, cohesive look across the brand. The design was intended to evoke a sense of celebration, playfulness, and freshness with every detail.

Design Process

The process began with sketching playful logo concepts that would resonate with the target audience while being flexible for packaging and digital applications. The chosen logotype combined a chunky, retro-inspired typeface with a whimsical popcorn graphic accent to reinforce the brand name and identity.

Packaging exploration focused on creating a visual rhythm using patterns, brushstroke lettering, and high-contrast typography. Polka dot backgrounds and dynamic “POP” elements were designed to create movement and energy across the box.

Mockups were created and refined to ensure that the branding was visually effective from every angle and scalable to various flavors and formats.
